Stories of the Paranormal

We have a story of the "Prankster"......

A few months ago we went to a restaurant for the evening.....
This restaurant is in NJ, and has a resident spirit that likes to play with the patrons.....
You sit in the back of the restaurant and watch the fun....
You'll notice the customers "double reaching" for the glasses or flatware.
You'll have glass in your hand place it down look away....it moved.....
We watched this for awhile during dinner.We went upstairs to unused area,
turned the corner and saw a tall man with long dark clothing in the restroom.I said excuse me.... I took a double take. Then saw this apparition fade backward into the wall, just his head was sticking out....
All of a sudden,he banged on the wall as if to try to scare us.....Well, we just wanted more!
He stared for a second, then he was totally gone..........Not scary, but true........

"The Old School House "

We lived in an old historic home in NJ. It was very old,

early 1800's. It was onced used as an old school (Academy).

At fist we experienced nothing out of the ordinary.When ever

someone would come over and go upstairs they would always suddenly

grab the rail at the top of the stairs.No matter who ,that would happen ever single time! You would always get the feeling as if you were going to be pushed!

One afternoon we decided to explore the third floor area.You see

that part of the building was not occupied.This building was split

into 9 different units. The original desks were still there with the

original floor plan of class rooms with a hall in the center. After

about 10 minutes of exploration ,we heard a desk slide! At first we

dismissed it,until we saw the slide marks in the dust on the floor!

After a few more minutes of addition investigation a door closed.

It did not feel threatening to us. After awhile we went back down stairs.

As time went on we would come home and see cabinets open and or

drawers out. Of course one of us must have left it that way...Right ?

A few weeks later I was in the upstairs bath tub, thinking I was the only

person in the house I left the door open .I heard foot steps coming toward

the door.I called out , but no answer ! I got out of the tub and in the hall

I saw a women in period dress with a bun in her hair smiling at me ! At

that point I yelled outside to Lisa who is in the house? She said "just you"!

This happened one more time a few months later...

I was embarrassed by a ghost..............

"Walking home through the French Quarter"

Growing up in the French Quarter you would experience many things, the

many different types of people . Some of the voodoo /white magic in the

shops along the streets. One afternoon while walking at twilight I saw a

priest crossing the street. He turned and smiled at me, then just before he

got to the other side he simply vanished.....There are many claims of this

by locals all the time.

So if you ever get a chance go down there and expierence it for

yourself.............
